A new image takes flight.
In 2019, we unveiled a new logo for Falconer Printing, together with a shorter, leaner name. It’s been a really exciting time for us lately, and we dove in head first.
Before we get too far though, it’s important to note that we’re the same salt-of-the-earth group of service-centric, hyphen-heavy printing experts. We’re just focusing on what we do best – on what you’ve come to depend on us for. In a world of printing companies working to sacrifice quality at every cost-cutting corner, we’re taking a stand to deliver a better product, with more reliable service than anyone else, and looking for cost savings that make sense for everyone. With many of the changes you’d see at our facility these days, all have come in the name of efficiency and cost savings that don’t sacrifice the quality and dependability we’ve always been able to deliver.
Falling behind, keeping up or doubling down.
We recognize that as printing technologies evolve, so does the landscape of companies offering printing services. Many can’t or don’t want to keep pace with the evolution, and fold or sell their companies to competitors. Others, seeing the advent of more understandable digital technologies, pop up anew. In some cases, like ours, stable printing companies can ride the wave of changes and remain successful. It requires incorporating the technological changes into an even better business model. We’ve been happy to prosper in these changing times, and feel like we’re now capable of even more. We can offer the same service and attention to detail to a growing number of printing systems and services.
With that prosperity has come a new sense of pride and feeling that we’re ready to tackle more and bigger challenges. We’ve become masters of offset and digital printing, and have made major strides in the non-traditional, wide-format banner and signage markets. Bundled in with corporate apparel and other extensions of printing services. We’ve become a much more versatile and expansive printing provider.
Throughout the years, we’ve made many additions to Falconer Printing & Design, Inc. We’ve brought in Roach Photography, acquired Jamestown Envelope, and we’ve built up a serviceable graphic design department. As we’ve incorporated these changes, we’ve always sought to add extensions to our own collateral. Our name grew from Falconer Printing to incorporate a boiler plate of secondary services comparable to that of a government organization. Rather than trying to incorporate an unnecessary (and un-agreed upon) acronym, we realized that our better bet was to double down on our core service area.
Printing.
After all, the various inclusions we’ve nested into the family have always been sought for their benefits to the printing business. Our product, aerial and staff photography services along with the design staff have made us more useful to printing customers, as we can not only print their files, but can help them on a production front. We’ve always offered assistance with file handoff, but these additions simply made us a more beneficial partner. The Jamestown Envelope acquisition helped us gain more envelope printing clients, but also allowed us the opportunity to quote traditional printing work with envelope customers, making all of our services a stronger, more cohesive group of printing capabilities and extensions.
Seeing our evolution ultimately strengthen our position as a commercial printer, we’ve decided to put our best foot forward, and we’re leading our change in going now by Falconer Printing. It’s the name most of our customers call us by anyway, but it’s also a new, daily reminder that we’re printing experts, and it’s something on which we’re excited to claim a more deliberate and confident stake.
If you’re one of our past or current customers, we’re also excited for you to see the new logo adorning your forthcoming deliveries and correspondences. For new or prospective customers, we’re hoping you give us a try shot for your future printing needs, from design to delivery, we’ll provide that you’ll never find an option who’s more amped up to tackle even the smallest details of your print project or mailing.
A promise.
With all the new capabilities, printing extensions and services we’ve brought to the table, we see an opportunity to make a statement to our customers. A promise. Not every project will have the budget to add foil stamping, die-cuts or specialty finishings to their piece. That doesn’t mean it has a smaller potential to make an impact. Any time we put color on paper, it runs through many steps to assure it looks great. It also runs through more checks than a car inspection to make sure we don’t miss commonly overlooked printing mishaps. Most of the time, they’re details you won’t ever notice, but every time, they’re ones we sweat over. Things like cracked folds, misaligned edges, and accurate, streak-free color. All are part of our attention to detail that makes sure you’ll receive a project that’s the strongest presentation you’ll ever see. Our goal is to make sure your message is the only thing that gets your customer’s attention, It’s a goal we meet every time. We won’t promise to do a good job for you. We promise to do a great job for you. It’s not enough that you look good. Our aim is to make your message fly off the page – in a way only a Falconer Printing project can deliver.
